Manakamana Temple
Small but important, Manakamana Temple is located off the Prithvi Highway just 6km from Mugling, atop green hill which has cable car(rope way). The temple is dedicated to the goddess
Bhagwati who is said to grant wishes to all who visit there. This is the temple built on 17th century.

How to visit(transport):
Manakamana Temple is just 6 km far from Mugling which connects the Pokhara and Kathmandu rout. The Temple is 141.6 km far from Kathmandu via Prithvi Highway and 105.5 km far from Pokhara via Prithvi Highway. You can get the bus from any places of Nepal to Manakamana. Here is the some transportation charges:
1. Kathmandu to Manakamana(Bus): $3-$5 and VIP bus cost: $10-$20
2. Pokhara to Manakamana(Bus): $4-$5 and VIP bus cost: $10-$20
3.You also hire car/taxi/jeep which cost around $50-$200
After you reach Manakamana Temple Cable Car Office you have to go to the Ticket counter to take the Cable Car because Temple is on the top of hills but you can also go by walking but it takes lot of time. Cable car Ticket cost around NRS. 650(two way) for adult of Nepal and foreigner people should pay $25-$20 per person and for two way. And indians should pay $7-$9. Then you should take cable car the you will reach on the cable car station then you have to walk for 5-10 min then you will reach the Temple.
Food:
You can get a lot of restaurants around Manakamana Temple. You can get various types of food with different prices. Food price starts from $1-$50.
Stay:
You can get lot of resort near Manakamana which cost you around $20-$200 per night but if you came back to station then you can also get cheap hotels which are near highway. These hotels cost you around $5-$100 per night.
Next day you can also stay on resort of Manakamana if not you can take a bus or taxi and go anywhere from highway.
